Over the Christmas break, while I was developing my textured mark making prints I went to visit a local exhibition at First Site in Colchester. It was based on the prints created by the two designers in between 1954 - 1975. As soon as I saw the big walls outside covered in their wallpaper I knew this was the exhibition for me. Lots of texture, lots of roughness and messiness. Just what I like! :)
This exhibition gave me lots of ideas to use to create textures, it's great to know things like this exist on your doorstep!
